Appointments

calendarThe appointment system aims to enable you to see a GP within 48 hours or a health care professional within 24 hours during core hours. You will have the opportunity to book appointments more than 48 hours in advance. It will be possible to be seen by a Practitioner of your choice but waiting times may vary for specific doctors.

On a usual working week our Doctors will be:-

  • Monday - Dr C Chintea (M) and Dr G Chobanyan (F)

  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday -  Dr G Chobanyan (F) Dr I Dowell (M)

  • Friday - Dr C Chintea (M) and Dr I Dowell (M)

You can book an appointment online by clicking the 'access the online appointment system'

on the link above

At times we may arrange for one of our nurses or a doctor to call you back. They will offer you advice over the telephone and, if necessary, make you an appointment.

As a registered patient an appropriate consultation and examination will be provided even if it has been some time since you last visited the practice.

E Referrals

Where a clinician has decided that a first consultant outpatient appointment is required, you will be offered a choice of appointments. There is a computer system running in the practice to confirm these booking arrangements. For more information on how E referrals works, and guidance on the options available to you, telephone 0845 60 88888

Urgent Problems

It is not normally necessary to inform the receptionist that your problem is urgent. However, if you feel that you need to be seen immediately please advise the receptionist accordingly. Sick children will always be seen as soon as possible if brought to the surgery. (This is often quicker than a home visit.) If in doubt about bringing your child, please phone the surgery and the doctor will give you advice.

Temporary Residents

If you have someone staying with you and they need to see a doctor, we will be happy to see them as a temporary resident. Please enquire at reception for details.
