  • Primary Care Services (Health and Beyond) Additional Appointments Available

    Appointments are now available on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays for patients of practices within Primary Care Services (Health and Beyond).

    Appointments will be delivered from Bilston Urban Village between 8am and 12pm. 

    Appointments will be available on a first-come first-serve basis to be booked in prior to the day through your normal GP practice.

    If you need to book an urgent appointment please call 111 who will redirect your call.    

    Primary Care Services (Health and Beyond) have also Improved Access during the week with weekday appointments available from 5pm – 8pm. For further information please contact your practice team.




Childhood Vaccinations And Immunisations

childimmuniseAppointments will be sent out for our immunisation clinics. which we run every Tuesday from 09:30 - 12:00. Please contact us at the practice if you need to make an alternative immunisation appointment or if you have any anxieties or queries regarding immunisations.

Child Health Surveillance Services

Child health surveillance will be provided by the Doctors and Nurses in the practice.  In addition all pre-school children will have a named health visitor and will be able to see them at appropriate clinics. 

Antenatal Clinic

Child_bellyMidwives visit the practice and run antenatal clinics. They can deal with all issues relating to pregnancy. If you are pregnant please make an appointment to book in with the midwives.

Cervical Smear

Cervical smears are available under the three year screening programme and when clinically indicated. Please make an appointment with one of our practice nurses.

Vaccinations And Immunisations

All immunisation and vaccinations are available via our practice nurse team. For travel advice and vaccinations or routine health vaccinations please make an appointment with the practice nurses.

Minor Surgery Clinic

Typically, small cysts, warty lesions and benign moles which are causing discomfort or concern, are removed at this clinic. If you feel that you have a lesion which you might wish removed, please book at a routine appointment with the doctor, ensuring that you inform the reception of the reason for the appointment so they are able to allocate you an slot. At this appointment the doctor will assess the suitability for referral to this clinic. Some lesions are not suitable for removal in the surgery, therefore the doctor may refer you to a specialist.

Contraception Advice

We offer a full range of advice on contraception services within the practice. Please book an appointment with our specialist contraception trained nurse for advice and information.

Flu Vaccinations

vaccination11Please contact the practice from early September. It is important to have a flu vaccine if you are 65 or over or suffer from coronary heart disease, asthma, diabetes, or other chronic illnesses. Residents of nursing/residential homes and health workers are also advised to be vaccinated.

Pneumovax vaccine, which is also available, protects the body against bacteria that can cause serious disease such as pneumonia, blood poisoning and meningitis. It is recommended for everyone over 65 years of age and others with long-standing ill health. Please enquire at reception if you think you are eligible for this vaccine.

Community Nurses

Community nurses are regularly in touch with the practice and they provide nursing to housebound patients and those recently discharged from hospital as and when necessary.

Commnity Midwives

Community midwives work with the doctors to provide care to mothers before and after delivery and for the baby's first 10 days.


The practice also uses the phlebotomy service based at Phoenix Health Centre and bilston Health Centre.

Counselling and Psychotherapy

A primary care healthy minds service is available in the practice and can be accessed via GP referral.

Compton Hospice

We have close links with Compton Hospice and the doctors and nurses are in regular contact with a member of Compton Hospice's home care team.  If you need further information, please ask.

Non-NHS Examinations/Reports

These are available when required but we have to charge for them. The reception desks hold an up-to-date list of charges so please ask for these or if you require further details.


For intimate examinations or procedures, the health professionals may use a chaperone. If you would like to be accompanied by a chaperone, please tell the doctor and a fully trained member of staff will be present for the procedure.
